ART Europe; Lower Extremity Level 1
This is a course by ART Europe
Overview
ART Lower Extremity Level 1 provides evidence-based instruction of the necessary skills to detect and treat softtissue anomalies and dysfunctions of the feet, ankles, legs, knees, hips, and the surrounding structures. Throughout the seminar, attendees review the muscle and soft-tissue structures of the lower extremities, and how to evaluate and appropriately treat the disorders using the ART Diagnostic Algorithm and 62 manual protocols. Lower Extremity Level 1 techniques can be used to treat a broad list of dysfunctions, including runner’s knee, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, and other soft-tissue dysfunctions.
Learning Outcomes
Recite the four basic components of ART treatment protocols. Summarize the cellular response to ART treatment on soft-tissue structures. Compare healthy and unhealthy tissue utilizing hands-on palpation techniques. Identify muscle or soft tissue texture, tension, movement and function through palpation and patient assessment. Palpate 62 anatomical soft-tissue structures within the lower extremity, using an appropriate tension, depth, and motion to properly perform the treatment protocol
